Lola 1970/80's Vintage Head Rest

Made from high grade weather resistant vinyl, sewn with marine grade thread and filled with non deteriorating foam, these head rests will be the perfect replacement for that worn and tired original that is over 30 years old.  The size and fit are exactly to the original and conforms with current SCCA requirements.  The cushion is layered with 1" of high density foam, topped off with 1/4" of plush foam to provide a soft initial touch.  It has a wooden backing identical to OEM and is ready to accept your original aluminum backing plate with 4 simple screws (both not included).  Not original, is the yellow piping, which we feel adds a subtle cool touch and works great with our vintage or contemporary Lola logo as seen in the above picture. However, we can tailor make one for you on special order with piping or vinyl in any color of choice.  These head rests were common on many Lolas throughout the 1970's and 1980's including most Sports Racers (all Sports 2000 including the T492), Formula Atlantics, Formula Super Vees, among many others.  Aluminum backing plate available (see below).

Aluminum Backing mount

Our custom fabricated aluminum backing plate is an exact replica of the original part and mates perfectly with our head rest cushion.  The plate has 4 counter sunk holes and includes 4 stainless steel Philip head screws.  10-24 thread Rivnuts can be installed from a template made from your roll bar at additional cost.
