Ex Stanley Dickens car. Last raced 1985 in
lokal Swedish sportscar series. In a need of total restoration but still complete.
Formerly owned by Ulf Danielsson until 6/05. As
the car is totaly dismantled I think you're picture on the website is
the best we could achive for some time. Stanley Dickens have promised some
photos after the summer from when he was in action, and maybe I will
restore the 'look' as it was at that time, we'll see...I will send some
photos when I got something better.... |

We purchased the car through Comprent Motorsport, Georgia, Atlanta in 1998. After a ground up restoration, started racing in the SRCC championship in 2001. After a heavy shunt in July 2002 the car is undergoing another major rebuild, including a new tub. We hope to be out again for the 2004 season. We have SCCA log books from 1985 when the car was sold by Grover Freeman to Don Cloyd. Last recorded owners were Chris Aponte & Jim Lamb. Any further info would be appreciated. |

And has never been altered from stock. Currently been used in vintage/historic racing. |

I just aquired a Lola T 492 from
1978. It is chassis no. HU 84 originally delivered to USA agent Carl Haas
and then to its first owner David Ferrell, Sears Point, California who
raced it at Sears Point, Riverside and Laguna Seca until it was stored from
1984 to 1996. In January 96 it was bought by Bruce Trenery, Emeryville and
in February 1996 it was imported into Europe and bought by Willie Beck, Riol, Germany until I bought it in February this year. During the ownership of Willie Beck it was raced in sprints and endurance races and won its class often. The car is said to have never been crashed seriously and is in quite good order now, it will be raced at club races as time allows. |

I have owned the car for about 8 years and have run it in the UK principally
in SRCC Sports 2000 events. When I bought the car it had been
running with an overbored Pinto engine which was damaged. It now
has a 2 litre Pinto and the chassis has been rebuilt.
